Ways of Eid Ul Fitra Celebration

The celebration of Eid starts with moon sighting. People make special plans for this night and go to open places to gaze on the horizon. After gazing at the moon, everyone embraces and exchange gifts with each other. The youngsters always celebrate Eid by their own style, which is to take out the motor bikes, vehicles and perform stunts like one-wheeling and the whole city look like rattling with the roar of silencer less bikes.

If Muslim belief is to be trusted, then they say that the Almighty Allah commanded them to fast until Ramadhan, and pay the Zakat-al-fitr everyday before offering prayer. So a lot of things happen on this festival and each one has its own significance.

Some scholars believe that fasting is meant to praise and lauding the power of the religious realm, by admitting the subordination of the physical realm.
